As we continue to return to "normal" and now that over 70% of the adult population of the Commonwealth has received at least one dose of the vaccine, we wanted to bring you up to date on the current office protocols.
In any area of the office where active treatment is being delivered, masks will still be required. However, in common areas such as the waiting room, rest rooms, consultation rooms, etc., masks are optional.
Patients who are minors will be now be allowed to have ONE parent/guardian accompany them into the waiting room area and remain there throughout the appointment.
A few other guidelines moving forward:
- If you have been sick, feel sick, have a fever, etc. we ask that you NOT enter the office
- We ENCOURAGE social distancing whenever possible in the office
- We will continue to provide hand sanitizer, handwashing stations, masks, and antimicrobial rinses for each patient prior to their visit
Please note that any/all of these procedures may be modified per CDC, state and local mandates and/or guidelines.
Finally, we want to thank all of our patients and families for their patience and compliance over the past 15 months. We know it hasn't been easy, but we certainly appreciate your efforts!
