Orthodontic treatment is an investment that lasts a lifetime, and we strive to help our patients find the best payment option for their budget. Many employers are now offering orthodontic benefits as part of their dental coverage plans, and many others are offering medical savings accounts that allow for pre-tax dollars to be used towards orthodontic treatment.

When calling to schedule the initial visit, you will be asked to furnish any insurance information you may have to allow us to verify any orthodontic benefits prior to your visit. We accept most all major insurance plans and will complete all necessary paperwork and file your claims for you. In addition, we accept payment directly from the insurance companies to help minimize your out of pocket costs. If you have a medical savings account, we will work with you and your employer to help obtain the maximum annual benefit.

Each orthodontic treatment is specifically designed to meet the individual needs of the patient, so there is no "standard" fee for treatment. Length of treatment time, complexity of the treatment to be rendered, the type of appliance system used, and many other factors contribute to the fee for treatment. At Commonwealth Orthodontics, we will quote one comprehensive fee which covers the entire scope of treatment (placement, adjustments, removal, retainers and supervision).

At your initial visit, if it is determined that orthodontic treatment is indicated, we will provide you with a written fee quote before you leave that day which is good for a period of six months. We offer multiple payment options including an interest free office payment plan (payments are electronically deducted on the 1st or 16th of each month from your checking or savings account) and an extended, no down payment option through our preferred third party financing company. In addition, discounts are available for full payment when your treatment begins.
